Our Consignment service includes;
- Free assessment of item(s) to be consigned
- Free verbal estimation of value of item(s)
- Offer to accept our consignment services and fee schedule
Upon agreeing and accepting the terms of our consignment services and fee schedule.
- Item(s) will be carefully inspected, thoroughly tested, professionally cleaned and polished back to its most original condition, ready for sale.
- Item(s) will be professionally photographed. In some cases a video can also be made,
- Item(s) will be valued according to the NCJV, this is ‘a detailed assessment that estimates the likely replacement price at a traditional shop.
- Descriptions will be written and a selling price will be confirmed with you.
- item(s) will be listed and promoted on your behalf through the jewellery Gems & Findings sites including eBay, Facebook, Instagram, linkedIn, Google and Pinterest.
- We attend to all enquiries promptly and honestly.
- You will be notified of any enquiries which require your approval.
- We will keep you updated regularly during the consignment.
- When sold, we handle the careful packaging and sending of your item(s) to the buyers registered address. We use Australia Post and always ensure the packages are sent registered and insured.
- Once settled, you will receive the proceeds of the sale less any fees incurred by eBay, Paypal, Australia Post etc.
